What was my role in Dan Olesen's Campaign?
For this municipal campaign, I led the creative and community-facing digital strategy with a focus on authenticity, local voices, and momentum. My role sat at the intersection of content strategy, community relations, and short-form video production.

I developed and executed a cohesive content system across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook—building weekly themes tied to policy priorities and translating them into moodboards, storytelling frameworks, and short-form video concepts. I personally filmed, edited, and produced Reels and videos designed to feel human, accessible, and grounded in everyday Calgarian experiences.
A core initiative I led was a resident interview series that centered community members’ perspectives, concerns, and hopes for their neighbourhoods. This series helped shift the campaign’s digital presence from promotional to participatory—positioning the platform as a space for listening as much as messaging.

I continuously audited performance and adapted the strategy in real time, using engagement and audience behavior to refine tone, pacing, and formats. Within two months, this approach resulted in a 1337.1% increase in views, 905.2% growth in likes, and a 288.9% increase in comments, while establishing a personality-driven, community-first narrative for the campaign.
